Your neighborhood runs on Porchlight. Here's how to do the things people ask about most — on any phone, no password, no app store.
Go to porchlightpoa.com/portal/login, enter the email your board has on file, and tap the link we send you (by text too, if you've opted in). No password to remember, and the link stays good for a few days. Tip: once you're in, use your phone's "Add to Home Screen" so it opens like an app.
Check junk or spam and mark it "not junk" — the first one often lands there. Still nothing? Your board may have a different email for you: use Support & complaints once you're in, or contact the board directly.
The Dues tab shows your balance, the due date, every payment on record, and a statement you can download.
The Dues tab tells you exactly where to mail a check (and to whom). When your community turns on online payments, a Pay button appears in the same place.
If your community allows payment plans, there's a "Need a payment plan?" button on the Dues tab. It sends a request straight to the board.
Pool tab → pick your date and time → submit. The board approves it, you get a confirmation, and it goes on the neighborhood calendar. Cancel from the same page.
Yes — More → Household → add your spouse or co-owner with their own email or mobile. They get their own sign-in link and every dues reminder, announcement and gate-code update you get. Two logins per home, no shared passwords.
More → Pool access. The current gate code is right there (it changes each season and only shows while your dues are current). Lost a card? Report lost — it's turned off immediately and the board issues a replacement.
Calendar tab. Tap "Add to your phone" once and every event shows up in your own calendar app automatically.
More → Architectural request. Describe the project (materials, colors, dimensions, contractor, start date), attach photos or plans, and submit. The board decides within 14 days; you're notified, and the decision stays on record with your lot.
More → Support & complaints → New request. Tick "send anonymously" if you'd rather the board not know it was you — your name is never stored on anonymous reports. Otherwise the board replies to you right in the thread.
When a vote is open you'll see "Vote now" on your home screen (or More → Votes & polls). One vote per lot. Can't make it? Hand your vote to a neighbor with a digital proxy from the same page — you can take it back any time before the vote closes.
More → Documents. Always the current version.
Market tab → post a listing with photos. Only people in your neighborhood can see it; buyers message you inside the app.
More → Trusted Local Pros — one vetted business per trade, each with a neighbors-only deal.
More → My household & contact info. Add household members so they get their own sign-in, and turn text alerts on or off there.
Tell the board (Support & complaints works). They close out your account in one step and the new owner gets their own welcome.
